Penny is a 5 times Australian Champion in the 100 m hurdles. She was also a silver medallist in the 1969 Pacific Conference Games Tokyo, going on to represent Australia in the 1970 commonwealth games. Was a dual Olympian in 1972 and 1980 and team captain 1980. Penny was also a World cup rep in 1977 1979 and 1981.rep.
